Lieutenant General NS Raja Subramani named next Chief of Defence Staff

Lieutenant General N S Raja Subramani has been appointed as the next Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) of India. He will also take charge as Secretary of the Department of Military Affairs from the date he assumes office. The appointment was announced ahead of the completion of the tenure of the current Chief of Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan, who is set to retire on May 30, 2026. https://ift.tt/aWZoDsv
